Apologies for lack of posts, amigos... been away... just returned from Dublin, where I took in the i-and-e festival of improvised music. Which I enjoyed very much - despite the complete lack of facilities (which can be a problem for me at times...) - spartan to say the least. But small carpings - the music was of a high standard, the acoustics at both venues superb. I especially enjoyed Annette Krebs and Keith Rowe - solo and in various group performances, but to single out anyone would not reflect the overall quality. A longer review to follow when I can edit my notes and collect my thoughts... and a return to mp3 posts asap...
